listening to the air conditioner that just kicked on
watching the new curtains in my office blow above the vent
reading a National Geographic magazine this morning
wearing shorts and a tank top - the daily uniform now that summer has arrived
planning for a short day trip next week
feeling grateful for some upcoming opportunities
wanting to go to the warehouse store later today to stock the fridge
needing to vacuum upstairs, my least favorite chore
thinking about heading outside to play some lawn games when it cools down
enjoying having the kids home and getting to spend more time with them
celebrating today
